Wendell D. Moore, Partner Wendell D. Moore graduated from Texas Tech University in 1955 with a BBA in Accounting. Mr. Moore joined Pratas, Smith and Moore in 1960 after working in private industry for 5 years. He became a partner in 1963. Mr. Moore serves as the administrative partner of the firm and is active in the firm's tax practice as well as it's financial planning practice. He is also active in the litigation support practice of the firm and has been engaged to testify as an expert witness in various legal proceedings.
Mr. Moore's professional associations include memberships in the American Institute of CPA's, the Texas Society of CPA's, and the Lubbock Chapter of TSCPA's. He has served as president of various professional organizations, including the Lubbock Chapter of TSCPA's, the South Plains Estate & Trust Council, and the Texas Tech Tax Institute. He has served on various state committees of the Texas Society of CPA's, including Tax Curriculum, Relations with Bankers and Bank Regulatory Authorities, and the Public Practice Curriculum Committee.
Mr. Moore is active in various civic and charitable organizations in Texas and is serving on several boards of non-profit entities and a private foundation.
Mr. Moore has been active in assisting in the formation of various companies and has served on boards of several companies, including a publicly held company listed on a National Exchange.

Randy L. Wright, Partner Randy L. Wright began his accounting career with a national accounting firm in Fort Worth, Texas in 1976 after graduating from Texas Tech University with a BBA in accounting. Mr. Wright joined Pratas, Smith and Moore in 1977 and became a partner in the firm in 1981. Mr. Wright takes an active role in developing the firm's tax practice, financial planning practice, trust and estate practice, and it's pension plan design and administration practices.
Mr. Wright's professional associations include being a member of the American Institute of CPA's, the Texas Society of CPA's, the Lubbock Chapter of TSCPA's, and the South Plains Estate & Trust Council. He has also served as President of the Lubbock Chapter of TSCPA's during 1991/1992 and has been on the planning committee of the Texas Society of CPA's Advanced Estate Planning Conference since 1993.
Mr. Wright has also been very involved in various civic and charitable organizations within the Lubbock area. Those involvements include serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Carillon, Inc. and on the boards of Legal Aid Society, Prevent Blindness of Lubbock, the Texas Tech University Accounting Advisory Council, and the Helen Jones Foundation, Inc. Mr. Wright is also a member and treasurer of Lubbock Rotary Club and is a past graduate of the Leadership Lubbock program.

Jimmy D. Pendergrass, Partner Jimmy D. Pendergrass began his career with Pratas, Smith and Moore in 1977 when he graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.B.A. degree in accounting. A partner with the firm since 1986, Mr. Pendergrass is primarily responsible for the firm''s audit and accounting practice. Additionally, his duties involve overseeing the firms quality control practice, pension administration, and computer and software consulting practice areas.
Mr. Pendergrass is a member of the American Institue of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Lubbock Chapter of TSCPA''s, and is a member of the QuickBooks Professional Advisors Program.
Mr. Pendergrass''s extensive community and civic involvement includes serving, or having served, on the boards of The United Way of Lubbock, Inc., Lubbock County Children''s Protective Services Board, Lubbock Arts Alliance, LISD Foundation for Excellence, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Lubbock, Inc., and the Children''s Advocacy Center of Lubbock County. He is also a member of the Greater Lubbock Rotary Club, the Junior League of Lubbock Community Advisory Committee and is a past graduate of the Leadership Lubbock Program.

Charles C. Dickerson, Partner Charles C. Dickerson began his accounting career with a local accounting firm in Hereford, Texas in January 1976 after graduating with a BS degree from Kearney State College in May, 1975. Mr. Dickerson joined Pratas, Smith and Moore in 1981 and became a partner in the firm in 1988. Mr. Dickerson takes an active role in developing the firm's tax and litigation support practices.
Mr. Dickerson's professional associations include being a member of the American Institute of CPA's, the Texas Society of CPA's, and the Lubbock Chapter of TSCPA's. He has also served on several mediation and arbitration panels in Lubbock and the surrounding area.
Mr. Dickerson has also been very involved in various civic and charitable organizations within the Lubbock area. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Lubbock Area Foundation, having served as President in 1997. A graduate of the Leadership Lubbock program, Mr. Dickerson is also a member and past treasurer of the Lubbock Lions Club.
